UNIT 02 How the Internet Actually Works

You use it every single day. But where does your 'good morning' actually go when you press send? Once you can see the journey, you can keep it safe.

UNIT 03 Your Data Is Something You Own

Your name, your photos, where you are right now, all of it belongs to you, like the things in your bag. This chapter shows you how to look after it.

UNIT 04 Strangers, Friends and the Space Between

Online, it is easy to feel like you 'know' someone you have never met. This chapter is about that feeling and how to hold a little space until trust is really earned.

UNIT 05 Grooming: Recognising the Pattern

A few adults try to trick children online, and they tend to follow the same pattern. This chapter helps you spot that pattern early.

UNIT 06 When Someone Uses Your Photo Against You

Sometimes a person tries to use a private photo to pressure a child, or pushes a child to send one. This chapter shows you the trap and, more importantly, the way out.

UNIT 07 Cyberbullying and the Bystander’s Choice

Most people online are kind. But sometimes a fall-out between two friends grows into a whole group shutting one person out. This chapter is about telling the difference, and the power you hold when you decide not to join in.

Bridging the gap between knowing danger exists and understanding how it actually works. Students learn to identify real threats, apply practical defences, and respond safely to the risks that arise in gaming, social media, and everyday digital life.

UNIT 01 Why Clever People Get Fooled

Scams do not work because people are silly. They work because they pull on feelings that are faster than careful thought. This chapter shows you the levers so you can understand the science and keep guard.

UNIT 02 Phishing and Fake Everything

Phishing is a message that pretends to be someone you trust, to get you to click, log in, or pay. It arrives in email, texts, chats and even as fake sites and fake apps. Here is how to read the tell-tales, and what to do calmly after a wrong click.

UNIT 03 Scams Aimed at Students

Some scams are cut to a student’s size in the form of a part-time job, a scholarship, free game currency, a quick payment. They use the same levers you already know, in costumes made for you. This chapter shows the costumes, and the one check that beats them.

UNIT 04 Someone Pretending to Be You

Sometimes the trap is not aimed at you. It attempts to be you. Someone makes a profile in your name, or uses your photos, to fool the people who trust you. This chapter shows you the signs and the calm way to fix it.

UNIT 05 Passwords, Passphrases and the Second Lock

A password is the key to your online life, and most people use weak ones. This chapter is hands-on: you will learn to build a strong passphrase, keep a different one for each account, and add a second lock so a stolen password is not enough.

UNIT 06 Setting Up Your Phone Safely

Your phone already has strong safety tools built in but most people never open them. This chapter is a guided tour on what each app can see, where your phone shows it, and the few settings worth changing this week. The exact menus differ by phone but the ideas do not.

UNIT 07 Your Social Accounts, Locked Down

The apps where you post and chat have real safety settings built in, yet most accounts run wide open because no one changed them. This chapter is hands-on. It tells you about the few settings that decide who can see you and reach you, and where each one lives today.

UNIT 08 Safer Gaming

Gaming is brilliant, and it is where a lot of your online life happens. You chat, make friends, spend/earn money and come in contact with strangers. This chapter is about keeping it fun and safe with four settings and one habit, without anyone telling you to stop playing.

Year 03 of 04 Understanding & Ethics

Intermediate · Ages 14–15 · 14 hrs

Understand how it works. Use that knowledge responsibly.

A deeper conceptual grade where students learn how networks, AI, and privacy systems actually work. Ethical decisions in this grade are grounded in real technical understanding — not just rules, but the reasoning behind them.

Artificial intelligence (AI) can write, draw, and answer almost anything in seconds. It is genuinely useful, but it is also confidently wrong more often than people realise. This chapter is about what AI actually does, so you can use it well and not be fooled by it.

UNIT 02 Deepfakes and Doctored Images

AI can now fake a face, a voice, a photo so well that it looks completely real. This chapter is about being calm and skeptical about what you see and, if a fake image ever targets you or a friend, understanding that it is not your fault and knowing exactly what to do.

UNIT 03 AI Friends Are Not Friends

Some apps use artificial intelligence (AI) to chat with it like a close friend who is always there and always kind. They can be fun to use. This chapter is about enjoying them with your eyes open. It clears what a companion chatbot cannot be, why what you tell it is not private, and who you really turn to when you feel low.

UNIT 04 True, False, or Just Loud?

A message can travel to a million phones and still be completely false. This chapter is about a calm, simple habit for telling true from loud: how to check a claim before you believe it, and before you forward it on.

UNIT 05 What Screens Do to Sleep, Eyes and Mood

Screens are a normal part of life, and this chapter is not here to scare you off them. It is here to show, honestly and calmly, how heavy screen use can affect your sleep, your eyes, your body and your mood, and the small habits that keep you feeling good and in charge.

UNIT 06 Designed to Keep You Scrolling

If an app is hard to put down, that is not a flaw in you. It is the design working exactly as intended. This chapter shows the tricks that hold your attention, why companies build them, and the simple settings and habits that put you back in charge.

UNIT 07 When Online Life Hurts

Sometimes online life can leave you feeling low, and sometimes a friend is quietly struggling. This chapter is about noticing that and knowing exactly who to reach. The most important idea in it is simple: asking for help is a strong, brave move, never a weakness.

UNIT 08 The Law Is On Your Side

India has real laws that protect children online. This chapter is a plain-language tour of the main ones, not to scare you with punishments, but to show you something powerful: when someone harms a child online, they are the one breaking the law, and there is a place to report it.

UNIT 09 If You Break the Rules

The previous Chapter was about the law protecting you. This one is the mirror: what happens when a young person is the one who causes harm online. Your actions have real consequences, and India has a special system for children that is built around learning and change, not adult punishment.

UNIT 10 Getting Help: Your Exit Doors

This chapter is the calm and practical drill for getting help. It describes the right door for the right problem, how to keep evidence, and who to tell, so that the moment something goes wrong, you already know what to do.

UNIT 11 Be the One Who Makes It Better

Up until now you have been learning how to be safe. This last chapter is a little different. It is about using what you know to make the online world a little kinder for everyone else too. You are not just protected now. You also have the power to look out for others.

Year 04 of 04 Leadership & Future

The culminating grade, where students consolidate everything they have learned about security, law, and emerging technology. They leave not just as informed individuals, but as leaders equipped to protect and educate those around them.
