You're growing up in a world where everything runs online. Are you ready for it?
As AI reshapes the way we learn, communicate and experience the world, knowing how to navigate cyberspace is an essential life skill. Being a digital citizen, you need more than the ability to use technology. You need the knowledge to make informed decisions, the confidence to see what others miss, and the skills that stay valuable as the digital world keeps changing.

This is where Hashtag Suraksha comes in.
Hashtag Suraksha is a national initiative by CERT-In, India's national agency for cybersecurity, under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, in collaboration with Cyber Buddha, built to put cybersecurity in the hands of every Indian student.
Through AI-powered learning, a national cyber competition and opportunities for student leadership, the initiative helps you build all three.
Become informed. Become a confident digital citizen. Become a Cybernaut.

Dr. Sanjay Bahl Director General, CERT-In & Controller of Certifying Authority

"Cybersecurity is no longer a matter of choice in the current era of rapid digital transformation."

"As India advances towards becoming a global digital leader, it is imperative that our next generation grows not only technologically adept but also cyber-aware, resilient, and responsible.

CERT-In and Cyber Buddha are launching a joint awareness campaign #Suraksha, a nation-wide movement to embed cybersecurity into the cultural foundations of our schools and communities, making it an integral hygiene part of education and daily life. By blending knowledge with creativity, competition with collaboration, it offers students a unique platform to learn, lead, and shape the narrative of a secure digital India.

At CERT-In, we believe cybersecurity is not merely a technical safeguard but a shared responsibility, a societal imperative, and a strategic national priority. Through this joint initiative of #Suraksha, CERT-In goes beyond awareness, aiming to instill both the mindset and skillset necessary for building a resilient and secure digital India. Together, let us build not only a cyber-aware nation, but a cyber-empowered nation."
