Cybersecurity is no longer a matter of choice in the current era of rapid digital transformation. As India advances towards becoming a global digital leader, it is imperative that our next generation grows not only technologically adept but also cyber-aware, resilient, and responsible.
CERT-In and Cyber Buddha are launching a joint awareness campaign #Suraksha, a nation-wide movement to embed cybersecurity into the cultural foundations of our schools and communities, making it an integral hygiene part of education and daily life. By blending knowledge with creativity, competition with collaboration, it offers students a unique platform to learn, lead, and shape the narrative of a secure digital India.
At CERT-In, we believe cybersecurity is not merely a technical safeguard but a shared responsibility, a societal imperative, and a strategic national priority. Through this joint initiative of #Suraksha, CERT-In goes beyond awareness, aiming to instill both the mindset and skillset necessary for building a resilient and secure digital India. Together, let us build not only a cyber-aware nation, but a cyber-empowered nation.

About CERT-in
The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India has been designated to serve as National agency for incident response under Section 70B of the Information Technology Act, 2000. CERT-In operates 24x7 incident response Help Desk for providing timely response to reported cyber security incidences. CERT-In provides Incident Prevention and Response services as well as Security Quality Management Services.
As part of its mandate, CERT-In regularly carries out various activities for development of cyber security capacities, skill building, awareness and citizen sensitization with respect to cyberattacks and cyber frauds. In order to create security awareness within the Government, Public and Private Sector organizations, CERT-In regularly conducts trainings / workshops to train officials of Government, Public and Private sector organizations across all sectors and citizens on focused topics of Cyber Security.
We are pleased to announce the launch of #Suraksha, a national initiative by Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) in collaboration with the Cyber Buddha, aimed at enhancing cybersecurity talent and awareness among students.
